Chapter Newsletter

Fall 2022

Dear Brothers,

As another great semester begins at the University of Georgia, we hope this newsletter finds you and your families well. We have had an extremely busy year, starting in January by bringing a National Championship in Athens. In January, our chapter also went on our annual formal trip to New Orleans.

Spring 2022 Pledge Class

A new addition to our house this year is an in-house theater. The new room has 2 couches, 4 recliners and a 75” LED television. We also installed a new pool table for the brothers to use in between studies and hanging out.

Our annual Trophy Jam returned for the spring semester in March for the first time since COVID. Good times were had by all as our chapter welcomed Arizona Zervas, our headliner to perform. Other artists included Parker Barrow, Davis King, The Talismen, and The Band Rooster.

This summer, we had an extremely successful rush, as we pledged 48 men from all across the country, including California, New York, Maryland, Ohio, and Louisiana. The UGA Kappa Sigma rush record was broken once again, as we pledged the most men in the history of Beta-Lambda this fall. Additionally, we recruited more men than any other fraternity at the University of Georgia. Thank you and congratulations to the Head Rush Chair, Brother Dylan DiPrima, for this outstanding accomplishment and contribution to the chapter. Additionally, thank you to Brother Sam Swanger for serving as Pledge Master and his contributions to the development and initiation of our new brothers.

This fall, we are all looking forward to seeing our 2022 National Champions take the field in Sanford Stadium in Athens. If you are in Athens, feel free to come by the house, where the brothers and alumni tailgate every gameday.

We are also planning on hosting Black and White next Spring on February, 11th, 2023. Tickets are on sale now!
